Did this painting last year but worked a few more hours on it this week. Much smaller than my usual stuff, 20x20". It is called "Highland Marsh". This will be at APFTA (a place for the arts) on Bridge Street, Bancroft as of Aug. 09/22. SOLD |
This most recent piece is acrylic, 36x48" entitled "My Dream of the Lake". It was difficult to get an accurate picture of this piece using only my phone camera. I used neons as underlayers for the pinks and oranges so the actual piece is much more electric! The pink clouds and rising sun pop off the canvas! That being said, it is a very "dreamy" painting, soft, and peaceful. This painting is now hanging in the Wildewood Gallery in Maynooth. SOLD
The past year has been one of transition -home, community and occupation. It's been a year since moving away from town and city life to this cabin in the woods . The cabin will now become the studio and I have the time to paint as much as I desire. I've been invited to be part of an 8 artist show for the summer. If you get to the Wildewood Gallery to see everything there, please let me know. Maynooth is one cool, artsy, foody, fantastic finds kind of place and I highly recommend it as a stop for a few hours. Have some lunch, take an easy walk around to see some amazing things.
