These paintings are all dedicated to my childhood penpal, Setuka Ishabakshe (or maybe Ishabokshe, Ishabakshi?). When I was 10, I knew her whole address by heart but have forgotten it  now. I would like to get in touch with her though and have searched for her but to no avail. I believe she lived in Okinawa Japan, but not sure. Hope I do get to connect with her again some day. She introduced  me to a different world . She sent me pictures of her conducting the tea ceremony.  I sent her a picture of me sitting on top of a 20 foot high snowbank!
